Hello and welcome to our website.

Surfing through the site you will be able to find out more about the Statue of Liberty in Arad, a city in the western part of Romania (Europe). The city of Arad has been under Hungarian domination and also in the Austro Hungarian empire. Although it is now a Romanian city its history has left behind several marks, such as this statue. The Statue of Liberty is now a cause of tension between two countries.

The monumental statuary composition commemorates the thirteen martyrs executed in the Castle of Arad in a way that it becomes unequivocally the allegory of liberty and social progress. As it is an issue between two countries we have posted the articles both in Romanian and Hungarian (besides English). The goal of this website is to inform and to take a step forward in searching for a solution to one diplomacy issue that affects us, directly. We have done research on several subjects. Click here to see the works cited.

Click here to find out how.
